chat room...

hi guys... i juz wanna ask... could we have a chat room in this forum??? coz for some reason it's really hard for me to connect to the game chat server... mostly i'm disconnected... seems like i got some connection problem.
that's why i juz thought it would be nice if we could have one here... thx ^ ^

I would love to have our own chat room. League chat from server is not so great anyway. The lines keep bouncing around if someone type in something. I try to work on our chat room next.

it would be fairly easy to set up an irc channel for it. there are some web based irc clients for the people that normally dont use it. so it could be used by everyone

Hi doomed, thanks for the input. I tried search for web based irc clients like you said but I might need more times to figure out on how to implement it to the site. This is not my profession. My time is limited right now. I have to try it again next time. If you are willing to help I'll let you do it.

you should look there mibbit has a service that allows you an irc on your page

I just went there and signed up for the free service but nothing happened.

i take it you can't edit the source code of the site, can you?

as mibbit supplies the code to add a client to your webpage. also you have to give a server you want to connect to.

in my experience irc.vision-irc.net is a good server.

I just activated the chatbox. This is provided by the host. I didn't have to do much.
